Textile artist Lee incorporates Ottchil, an ancient natural lacquering technique traditionally used for furniture, into her delicate hand-stitching practice. For her first piece, she experimented on a traditional summer costume once worn by her Ottchil master. The combination of Ott tree sap, aged fabric, and human warmth creates a palette reminiscent of autumn leaves.
